Here’s a brilliant soundtrack to this black comedy film from 1968 starring Rod Steiger as a psycho strangler – served up with some incredible grooves from British composer Stanley Myers.  “Kate’s Place” is a real killer track that features very dynamic drum work, bluesy guitar and cool organ riffs. Another standout is the bach-esque organ number “St. Matthew Fashion” which includes a trippy, fuzzed-out guitar solo and great drum backing, "Alpert Memorial" is a really weird one, the remaining tracks are a mixture of suspense and laid-back moods.
